So yes.super happy and satisfied with this purchase. The part of the receiver that fits into the ceiling fan cover is the correct size. Tiny. It connects with minimal effort and works VERY well. The problem I've always had with these things has always been a crappy remote and an even crappy remote sensor in the receiver. However, this one works with an RF signal instead of the old infrared type or something. I've never pressed a button on the remote that the fan didn't respond to. Every time I click the button it just works with no issues. Radio Frequency (RF) is way better than the old styles of these things. Your local big hardware stores charge upwards of $30-$40 for these remotes, and they don't work that well. I spent about $14 on this one and when it comes time to install another one in one of my fans I know for sure that I will buy another one of these. That works great. Is always.
