We moved during the pandemic and suddenly had to accommodate 4 children and 2 adults who need internet access at the same time. We had about 30 connected devices. We replaced our router/cable modem/Wi-Fi combo with a standalone Arris Surfboard dedicated cable modem and used the product to create a mesh Wi-Fi network throughout the house. with WiFi. Once installed, it now works seamlessly across our 3 floors and loft in our nearly 8,000 square foot home. even in the yard. I expected it to last more than 3, but it worked. I think our previous problem was a combination of WiFi mixing with a router/modem and two many devices connected at the same time (I was able to connect directly via an ethernet cable and used to work fine, so it wasn't our internet connection). The app is easy to use and provides useful information. Haven't played with the QOS aspects or parental controls but was surprised there are options. look simple, just turn your device on or off. Installation was very easy (although most smart products are now). We recommend. no need to get expensive.
