Review on Enhance Your Ride: Lippert Components 314336 Equa-Flex Spread Axle Suspension Upgrade Kit Explained by Rob Bishop

Limit Finish

First let me say that CSR Lippert did NOT help me determine what to order. It was obvious that the Road Armor stabilizers I had my eye on weren't going to work. I was told that Lippert makes a product for wide wheel tandem trailers like ours. This is an Equa-Flex adjustable truck kit. However, at first glance, the Lippert reps pushed me towards an axle manufacturer who had no idea how to help me with a foreign product. Lippert then had me crawl under the van and photograph the leaf springs and other installation details. A complete waste of time. So I give their support team an A. Also, Lippert wanted $80 more for the EQs than I could buy online plus shipping. nope So I ordered from Revain and received the equalizers yesterday. My first impression of the Equa-Flex is that they don't give these EQs the same quality and craftsmanship as the Road Amor. The packaging is bad. Nothing between two heavy pieces of metal, just paper so they bump/rub against each other during transport. The painting is sloppy and not very pretty. I don't know anything about welding, but the welding looks sloppy and looks unfinished. I understand this is an item hanging under your RV and it's about functionality not looks. But on a broad gauge van, this element is very noticeable and I think they didn't take it into account. I sent them back and chose a different brand.
