Need a flat bottomed saucepan for my induction cooktop. It would take forever for an enameled tin pot to boil hard. This one heats up quickly in comparison and the spacerless rack is great. Some wrote comments on the review that were unconvincing - it's not like that. He is strong enough to rise to the top potty position. You never want to lift a fully loaded rack out of a pot - that would be dangerous with someone else's rack. Two stand positions aid in loading and unloading cans from the cannery. An added bonus is the ability to see the inside with a glass lid.
