Review on Ultimate Comfort on the Water: GCI Outdoor SitBacker Adjustable Canoe Seat with Back Support by Adam Jackson

Terrific! Hold on!

This item is probably the best thing I've bought from the $500 I just spent on fishing tackle and I bought something GOOD! How would you enjoy these things if you had a back problem? You need comfort, my fishing friends! And that's it! The price was everywhere and I feel like I paid too much, but I have used this chair twice in 2 weeks. The second time we hit some pretty dangerous rapids, the canoe capsized and I needed first aid and a ride back to camp but! He braved the Delaware River! I haven't seen any scuffs, scuffs or inferior stitching. I think you should expect more/quick wear as you hit the river hard. He was moving a lot, changing positions and pounding him, but he still held on. Most importantly, keep your back straight. I constantly find myself hunched over when tying hooks or working with bait. A long day on the river can strain your back and ruin an evening. I felt supported in the upright position and relaxed in the supine position. The strap seemed to hold up well and the chair attached well to the canoe bench, the cushions were soft and I used the back pocket. I just want it to come with these extensions. Still on the waiting list, which I don't like. I'm sure the stitching will fail eventually, but if you don't mind a bit of sewing I would suggest getting one of these chairs. Just don't pay $50 or more for it if it doesn't come with extension cords. All around use and construction 5 stars all along the line! 👍
