Upgrade to 1 star as they break very easily when trying to reopen the bottle on first use. I have previously given them 3 stars (original rating below). They are great for creating an airtight seal. Now I can easily put the wine bottles back in the fridge lying on their sides. Although I would argue with the power of the vacuum. It doesn't suck in enough air to prevent the wine from oxidizing. This is enough to suck the cork into the bottle and prevent leakage.
