Review on 🧹 Dyson Ball Animal 2 Total Clean Upright Vacuum Cleaner, Blue: The Ultimate Solution for a Spotless Home by Jennifer Johnson

Cats, dogs and allergies. We needed a really good vacuum that would pick up dust, dirt and hair. The vacuum cleaner exceeded all my expectations in terms of suction and cleaning performance. At the same time, it does NOT collect small pieces of dry cat food that sometimes spill onto a plate. This confuses me and I called Dyson support. The person I spoke to didn't have an answer so she checked and said I needed to stop and remove the floor nozzle (either one) to collect stray cat kibble and then replace the nozzle to stop vacuuming. Every ad I've seen shows debris, or at least something in the picture, pieces of dry food that are the same size, and everything is easy to pick up. However, in real-life use, stopping, removing part of the vacuum and then reinserting it to complete the cleaning isn't my idea of universality. I've been using my vacuum like this since I bought it in 2018. I would return it if it weren't for the otherwise excellent cleaning. If anyone at DYSON reads this maybe they can contact me and help - it was such an expensive purchase! Very frustrated with this problem. For this reason, my assessment reflects the lack of versatility and quality of the material. I also agree with the review regarding the cable issue. I like the longer cord but it needs to have some method of retracting it and not just wrapping it around part of the vacuum as it doesn't hold in place well. I would gladly accept this shortcoming if my vacuum cleaner were to pick up small cat food residues. My old and much cheaper vacuum picked up these parts quickly and easily!
