This product does not work with standard USB peripherals (mouse, keyboard) for Dell XPS Corei7 2-in-1 laptops. A mouse or keyboard should be recognized or work when plugged into this USB-C hub, either unpowered or with the USB-C power cord plugged in. I made sure the external monitor is recognized with the VGA plug-in. .I tried the first product and also the replacement hub. Both didn't work. I've tried downloading new drivers, deleting drivers, reloading drivers. No success. This product failed to recognize my USB peripherals, mainly my mouse and keyboard. The USB stick was not recognized either. Do not rely on this product to work with USB peripherals.
