Piston does not bind like many others. You cock the plunger and then push the button. You get a sound similar to the sound you get from a daisy with a tail like a BB gun and a nice solid "Punt!" sound. Easy to understand. Simply unscrew the top and all components remain on the piston. Discard the cylinder and reassemble. My problem is that I'm working with 22AWG wire and LED pads, so I can't really achieve that. The nozzle is too big or there isn't enough solder to suck out the small pads and I have to use a wick. I leave it because I made a test sucker with more solder on the attachment and it sucks. It's just not an accurate device.
