Not easy to install due to seam in the middle.

Install - Not a good experienceWe had to make modifications to our wall in order to give us something solid to screw into (not the fault of the rod). What was more difficult than it needed to be was joining the two pieces together. Husband, who is in construction and a perfectionist to boot, had a half dozen ideas of how they could have designed it better.Results - Very Happy!Sturdy and attractive. I've even gotten used to the visible seam.
