For me this box lasted FOREVER (I was only looking for this item because we used the last one - and it says I bought it pretty much exactly 3 years ago!). That's a lot of bags for the casual user! They're so durable and big they really work as contractors' bags - I've been so frustrated with cheap crap I bought from stores not wanting to waste an arm, a leg and future dollars on a kidney. Some of them are EXPENSIVE (like $1+ for a bag. That's stupid!), but it's also very frustrating to get a roll of something that happens to be even thinner than kitchen bags. In the end it turned out to be the perfect balance of actually being thick and strong enough to sticker pack a bunch of random wooden planks, sticks, leaves and bushes - all household cleaning items that can just collapse - or come out of smaller bags - and still not that expensive to be cheaper just hire real people to clean up and collect your stuff. So two thumbs up for great bags at a reasonable price!
