This is a great entry-level microscope for home research. For starters, this microscope doesn't come with clean slides and lids or stains that you can customize for your own research. slides. However, it comes with an incubator, pipette, sample container, scalpel, circular cutter and long needle instrument. Since it comes with so many tools to create your own slides, I was really disappointed and weird that it didn't come with any forms. That's the only downside to this set. While you cannot prepare your own slides without purchasing additional accessories, this microscope comes with 6 slides already prepared and stored. You'll get Onion Skins, Fly Stalks, Dicot Stalks, Ripe Pinewood, and Cotton Stalks. This microscope is particularly good because you have the option of using it with a power outlet or with batteries. Because of this, it is extremely convenient to use and portable. The telephone connection is also quite decent, but depending on the weight distribution, it does not work equally well with all cell phones. The platform has different colors that you can choose as the background for your slide. For reference, I took several shots of a fly leg against a blue background at 3 different magnifications.
