Convenience and no extra floor space
I like that there is no table nearby or the unit has to be placed on the floor. It hangs directly on a duplex socket. Wi-Fi works very well with the Eero system and this accessory makes it almost invisible. We put a block in the hallway for better coverage and it doesn't need to be on the floor and we don't need a table for it.
