I had high hopes for this disc. The reviews were great. Inserting the drive into the case was very easy and the firm foam inside the case holds the drive well. The problem is with the cable itself. The included cable causes the drive to disconnect when transferring data or even trying to read the disc. I used the USB-C cable I had and it worked great. It's not a drive. I connected the same drive with a USB to SATA cable and had no problems. I'm thinking about keeping the case and just buying a USB-C cable to use with it, but that sucks, the cable that comes with it doesn't work properly. UPDATE: The company contacted me to resolve the issue. I did some research myself and found that a company sells a USB-C cable with a speed that should match the case, and the company sent me a replacement cable for free. The new cable ensures that the case works properly. I have increased my rating to 3 stars. I don't want to give the drive a 1 because the cable that came with it didn't work even though the company did their best to fix it! I don't know if I would buy the case again because of the cable issue, but the company certainly cares about customer service, which is rare these days!
