Amazing product! Highly recommended!

My old box can recognize the ADATA SU630 but this one can't! Update: Ugreen sent me a replacement after checking. Amazing customer service! It was my fault, the Ugreen box has a tighter base than the Sabrent, I press harder and it works really well. It has 100MB/s faster read and write speeds than the Sabrent and is very close to what is advertised. The ADATA SU630I delivers 397MB/s write and 523.4MB/s read on the MacBook Pro. It's thin, features shock-absorbing foam, and holds the disc in…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Very good device for computer accessories and peripherals

Of course it was difficult to open. Although it's good. I know the lid won't fall off. The SSD fits snugly between the rubber pads so it doesn't dangle. Windows immediately identified the device as a USB device and after formatting the SSD and giving it a drive letter I was able to start backing up. As you can see in the picture I get 563 MB/s reading and 519 MB/s writing. A real data transfer of 171 GB showed a stable transfer rate of around 438 MB/s for uncompressed and decrypted media files.

Pros
  • Very good price-performance ratio
Cons
  • Lots of things

Large drive housing. Other reviewers are lost.

As a side note, I work in IT and bought this case because I've switched to an NVME system drive so I have 1TB 2.5" left. This body is excellent! It was easy to install, has quality materials and an overall good build quality. that the cable problems listed might be correct, but I haven't had any problems of this nature so far! All in all, this will be great external storage and the VM's system drive.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Almost a good drive case. but great customer service!

I had high hopes for this disc. The reviews were great. Inserting the drive into the case was very easy and the firm foam inside the case holds the drive well. The problem is with the cable itself. The included cable causes the drive to disconnect when transferring data or even trying to read the disc. I used the USB-C cable I had and it worked great. It's not a drive. I connected the same drive with a USB to SATA cable and had no problems. I'm thinking about keeping the case and just buying a…

USB 3 performance is unreliable.

I had a large stack of extra laptop hard drives laying around so I ordered two different UGreen cases and two other brands. Everything worked great on the first day. The next time I tried to use them, NONE of the UGreen cases, including this one, worked with USB 3. When I switched it to a USB 2 port, it worked fine. I thought it could be the cable? If you are familiar with USB 3 and USB 2 cables, you know that it can be perfectly wired for 2 and still have broken wires for 3, so yes, different…

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Good but not great

Another cheap SATA III interpreter, nothing special. This is the average price; These types of modules are very cheap when bought separately (that's the important part anyway). The rest is just a cast polymer, trivial in almost every way. However, I give it a build/design score of 9/10. I haven't tested a 3D NAND SSD yet, I don't have any spares to use. I was able to fill a few drives, which is a fair test for fake/fake I/O controllers. Read on for my perspective and anecdote. However, with I/O
