Bought this skirt for a ballroom studio. I was very surprised and pleased with this skirt. It's a good gauge of fabric - not at all see-through, but not ridiculously thick either, flattering and overall comfortable to wear. I have a lot of extras on it. For reference, I'm 5'4" and 110 pounds. I bought an S medium and it fits perfectly. The waist is easily adjustable and the length was good too. The shortest part was probably 2 inches above my knee .wear shorts or a lion underneath just in case because you never know but I don't need them.
