I assembled this thing according to the instructions, placed it and attached it to the back door. Then I walked around the house to look at it. The test consisted of pushing the door with one hand without using any weight. I wanted to see how well it would withstand an attempted break-in.1. First pressure: no movement.2. Second push: the bar weakened, the door cracked.3. The third push: the bar popped out, the door opened a few inches. The fourth push: the plank broke in two, the door opens. Good luck using this product to stop an intruder.
