Review on 🔧 Wera 950 Spkl/9 Sm N Multicolor L-Key Set, Metric, Blacklaser Coating, 9-Piece Kit by Shigg Bigbee

Tired of crappy hex keys, I saw them on the toolguyd page. His reviews are usually accurate, so I went ahead and ordered a set. The price wasn't cheap, but I was tired of rounding hex heads enough to turn them into homemade security bolts, especially when working on my bikes. The set was sent from the UK and arrived promptly (delivery days went by which is ok if you're impatient). In typical Wera fashion, they were nicely packaged and protected. I'm usually skeptical of built-in tool holders, but I think the holder is great for my limited use. Allen keys are held securely in a soft plastic holder, and the clasp is comfortable for my clumsy thumbs. The fit and finish of the keys are excellent. The plastic coating on the shaft does not slip at all, even with greasy hands. The sizes are clearly printed on the color-coded surface, which is a lot better than trying to decipher the size from the usual matte black surface of most hex keys. The metal parts are a bit more polished than expected. Ballless tips fit snugly in all screws tried so far (mostly within a small range), and ball tips actually work better than any balled hex heads. In my hands, bullet points usually deal more damage to the head, so I usually avoid them. Maybe it's my use, but they really work, especially in those hard-to-reach places they were designed for. I can't think of a single negative quality about them. Now I just have to be careful not to lose it or borrow it from my offspring or spouse. Highly recommended!
