I've always wanted to try one of these. mainly because waking up to music didn't work for me. I thought the light source would help me wake up too. and I was right. This particular clock also has a battery to keep the time if the power goes out, but it doesn't work. as well as the presence of a built-in USB charger for charging devices on the bedside table. The watch has orange, red, blue, green and yellow colors which I noticed during setup (maybe a few more) and there are brightness controls like Well. The alarm clock has 10 alarm tones (although the button is incorrectly labeled "Ringtone" instead of "Alarm tone") and is volume selectable. It also has a 12/24 hour display option, volume control and dial brightness selection, and two separate alarms. The two alarm clocks have the same alarm sound and light color, so you'll need to coordinate alarm options with your partner if you're sharing hours. You can select different wake-up windows for the lighting for each alarm. However, the number of buttons is huge. There is a button for each function and everything can also be configured with a knob and a snooze/ok button. The settings option selector is more traditional, using only three or four buttons for everything, and I think they're more intuitive. So for now all the features are good. You could free up that space and expense to add other features like USB music playback, soothing sounds, a second USB port, a built-in functional backup battery, etc. The alarm clock is easy to use and really helps with waking up and can charge your phone and I love it. It does take some getting used to though - particularly the position of the sleep button, if you use one. If you want an inexpensive alarm clock and can get used to its quirks, then this is a decent alarm clock. but if you want the latest tech features, you need to set your expectations.
