This is a very well made tool. It looks strong and looks like it will last for years. I liked it the first time I used it. I've used it multiple times and my love for it has faded with each use. It's just a good tool. Here's what I don't like: I've found that an avocado needs to be the "ideal" size for it to work best; not too big and not small. The teeth/blades will not cut deep enough if the avocado is large. The scooping part is not suitable for large/small avocados. Again, it has to be the exact size. I still need a knife to cut the avocado, so it's easier to use the same knife to slice and dice the avocado. ) instead of a knife doesn't make my task any easier. It *really* works pretty well for safely removing the pit. Sometimes it's scary to use a knife for this.
