To be honest, the avocado slicer does exactly what it promises. Unfortunately, however, I find this to be much slower than the technique I'm using. Removing the ring and blades to remove the hole is too cumbersome. My technique is faster. Pulling out the avocado works, but only if the avocado doesn't fit in the outer loop.
