I am very happy with the quality of this table. I bought two to use as iron bedside tables. They are big enough and wide enough to be ideal as bedside tables. I painted them with Annie Sloane chalk paint after assembling them and the assembly was easy enough for me. (I'm a woman, I have my own toolbox and drill bit, and I've never had a problem with IKEA's picture-only building instructions, so it might not be that easy for everyone, but it wasn't the problem for me. ) That The only thing I changed was the grips. Instead of wooden handles, I ordered square metal handles to match the iron bed and am very satisfied with the result. No one thought they would cost less than $100 and I didn't buy them because I was trying to save money. I searched until I found something that fit my bed but didn't match and that was it. However, I will say that I spent too much time getting the job done with chalk paint; It turned out that using one color, not one color over the other, and then sanding was enough. And I've chipped off the paint on the countertops, which I really like. Much Annie Sloane wax has been added since then and circles will not appear on these tables even if you don't use coasters.
