(I just ordered a second pair on 5/30/19 👍 I think they lasted about a year as I was running about 20-25 miles a week). I am very satisfied 👍 Always buy Redwing patrol boots at the local store. Customer service is always top notch and these are good boots. Not only have they been forced to outsource in the last decade but they seemed to have less choice for me too. So I will say these boots are excellent not only because they cost less than half the price but also have a roomier toe box as there is no built in toe protection which I believe all Redwings lines have built in protection. I opened the box, put in my custom orthotics, put them on my feet and I patrolled all morning and my hammer toes, calluses or bursitis weren't stuck. I am 68 years old and I am a security guard. at the facility, where we're constantly on our feet for the entire shift. I definitely recommend these boots. I never thought I would buy boots online.
