Review on π¨ 100 Pack of 1/4" x 2" Kiln Dried Wooden Dowel Pins - Fluted, Beveled, and Crafted from Hardwood by Doris Tran
Not identical to IKEA Kallax dowels
I purchased this item because many other previous reviewers have stated that these dowels are the same as those used in the Ikea Kallax line of shelves. You are not. They are 3/8" shorter and have a larger girth. The difference in girth isn't noticeable until you try to insert them and they stick. You can hammer them in, but you'll need pliers and possibly a drill to get them to remove.
