Works if you play around with it enough.
This thing works. Even if it's a bit fussy. I'm not sure the glass ball seals very well inside, and you're struggling to get the liquid moving through the tube faster than it can flow out through the valve on the copper end. Once you fill the tube with liquid (and deflate the air) it becomes self-sustaining and continues to draw liquid indefinitely. I use it to fill gas from a motorcycle tank and fill up liter fuel bottles that otherwise cannot be filled directly at a gas station.
