Review on Kurgo Soft-Sided Wander Dog Carrier with Waterproof Bottom and Breathable Mesh Ventilation - TSA Airline Approved and Ideal for Exploring and Metro Travel by Catherine Dierdorff

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best carrier ever - durable, comfortable, secure and folds down for easy storage! Theme+!

One of my favorite Revain purchases. I stuff my 11 lb cat in here when we go to the vet and she has enough room to stand up if she wants or to lie down. This thing has three ways to put an animal in it - both ends zip open, and the top opens as well. If you have a cat, leaving it open has the same effect on the cat as a box: it's curious and wants to explore a new dark hole and jump right in - then you can sneak in and shut it. up very quickly and they don't even know what happened. The bottom is durable, soft and soft, so it's comfortable for the pet - cats can grab it better because it's made of cloth and not plastic. The lining does not move, it is fastened with Velcro. Holds its shape so it doesn't fall off while the animal is inside. You can attach it to your car with a seat belt through the specially designed loops to keep your pet secure and not sliding down the back of your car - love this feature. You can carry it like a duffel bag - over your shoulder or by holding it with the hand straps. Lots of mesh so the animal can see their surroundings and you can see the pet to make sure they're okay. My cat has a tendency to go crazy so I liked that I could unzip the zipper a bit so I could put my hand in to pet her. And enough that she stuck her head out and looked around without actually letting them escape, which somehow made her feel better? The lattice windows resisted their escape attempts with their claws, so I'd say it's pretty well designed in that sense and overall. I'm not sure how well it works with gum, but it looks like it can handle moderate abuse. Lots of compliments from the vet about it. Best of all, it folds up when you're done with it and you can take out the insert so you can store it in a corner of a closet when not in use, or under a bed, or anywhere you take it can accommodate relatively flat items. It's a lot better than having a giant plastic box to try and find a spot in your house, which was a major hassle if you're looking for something to carry your cat in. walking anywhere with a cat (God forbid), we know it's safe in it.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Not for everyone
