I bought these on purpose because they said they come with a 5/8" mandrel. I actually had two of these and neither of them had a 5/8" mandrel. Luckily my local hardware store also had an adapter, but given the price I paid plus the price of the adapter, I'd be better off getting one with I had to buy a 5/8" mandrel. It worked fine, but my tile cutter vibrated. slightly larger than normal, causing some tiles to break before they were fully cut. My guess is that the mandrel adapter didn't hold the blade centered correctly. Changed to a 5/8" mandrel model and all is well again.
