Poor quality power and hand tools

I don't often leave bad reviews, but I felt an obligation to this saw. After attaching it to my tile, the wet saw severely chipped my tile immediately rather than providing a clean cut. I tried another cut with the same result. I have years of tile experience and this is the worst finished blade I have ever used. I didn't expect it to last long considering the price, but at least I expected some clean cuts at the very beginning. I return the blade.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Contrary to the seller's statement, no 5/8 mandrel is supplied here.

I bought these on purpose because they said they come with a 5/8" mandrel. I actually had two of these and neither of them had a 5/8" mandrel. Luckily my local hardware store also had an adapter, but given the price I paid plus the price of the adapter, I'd be better off getting one with I had to buy a 5/8" mandrel. It worked fine, but my tile cutter vibrated. slightly larger than normal, causing some tiles to break before they were fully cut. My guess is that the mandrel adapter didn't hold…

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Not bad

cuts great if you don't care about the end product

So read the reviews on this blade because the price is right and there are some great reviews. Maybe you need a blade, but maybe you just have a small job and it will help you get the job done and you can save some money. Stop. Hit the back button and read no further, this isn't the blade you're looking for. If you decide to read on then I say yes this is a blade for a little work. That is, if your work consists of five tiles. If you have more, you can leave the worn blade you are replacing on…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Fair
