Good strong case. I got it to keep my Stabila level. Twenty dollar insurance at an expensive level. The lid is hinged and the hinge looks solid enough to last a while. Why not 5 stars? First, the case had a pile of scrap (shavings) from making case parts. Second, the labels were stuck on with glue, which left enough sticky liquid to stick to my gloves and was very difficult to remove. Customer shall not use WD-40 to clean labels. After cleaning the shavings, I added a small piece of styrofoam to the inside of both ends to keep the spirit level from hanging out. Now everything is ready.
