Engineers, why would you design a Rando bike light that can only be charged with a small proprietary cable that you supply with the light? I read this somewhere else and thought mine was working fine? You can charge with another cable until the battery is low enough... Then when you try to charge it, the light will turn on automatically and there is nothing you can do to turn it off. You must use the small cord that comes with the lamp... I've tried many others with the same results. It must be Rando's light. How are you going to run that with a dynamo? Or charge or launch with a remote battery if you must use the proprietary cable? I will probably use this light for a while and then return it due to this big bug if they don't give me a good solution. I love the side light and use it on my helmet, it gives a decent beam and good run time. I'll update this if I hear anything different from the manufacturer. The update contacted customer support about 10 days ago. They don't answer calls or call back. Hope this helps with your decision.
