My 7 year old Shih Tzu had surgery for bladder stones and has been on a prescribed diet ever since. She had two urinary tract infections within 6 months of surgery. My vet advised me to try it. I started giving it to my dog about 18 months ago and since then she has had no problems with UT. I can't say it worked for your dog but it worked for me so I wish you and your sweetheart the best. It's a small price to pay if it works, so give it a try.
