If you're familiar with wireless networks and routers, you should be able to get this little device up and running with ease . However, if this is your first router, chances are you're going to have a really hard time. The device comes with a two-page quick start guide. Even a CD like Linksys doesn't do that. If you still have internet access, you'll find that the exact same quick start guide is the only official documentation on the Cradlepoint home page. The homepage also has an FAQ section which, apart from the two-page spread, seems to be the only useful information available. An advanced user also looks at this FAQ because of some advanced features specific to this device, such as: B. load balancing, probably not experimentally understood. Since this router is otherwise very well made and polished hardware (assuming you understand all the menu options on your device), it just seems cheap and unprofessional from Cradlepoint to not add comprehensive documentation to a product that still costs over two hundred dollars. Dollar. Update (8/2/10): As a reader of this review kindly pointed out, the full guide is now available at [.]. Of course, it wasn't May, which might give you an idea of Cradlepoint's priorities.
