I've wanted to make a 3D house plan for a long time, but it's quite a problem with a tape measure. This little laser tool is pretty accurate compared to a tape measure and a lot more flexible with different modes where you can even measure volume and area and calculate the third dimension of a triangle from the other two. You can also switch the reference point from front to back, which is very convenient for wall-to-wall measurements. Overall I like this little tool that makes measurements easy and accurate.
