It fit perfectly, the wires were properly varnished, the boat was solid.
Replaced a 30 year old alternator on our Cobalt. All the mounting posts were in the right place and the wire colors and connectors matched the old ones, making installation easier. We had to replace the pulley (came with a spool, we have a V-belt) but that's no big deal and doesn't affect the operation of the generator.
