I use foam tire spray to paint tires on my Jeep Grand Cherokee and while it should be a spray that you can just spray on and not wipe off, it inevitably has to need a bit of a wipe to make it look good. I used to just dry it off with a shop towel but decided I needed something cleaner. I almost bought a similar foam product but in a 3 pack but not much more expensive but after reading the reviews I saw that there was a mention that the pieces of foam were small. I ended up purchasing this foam applicator and was not disappointed. It's large and fits my hand very well and allows me to wipe off excess dressing and get a nice even layer of dressing. Being hexagonal it goes in all the grooves very easily, which I struggled with using just a towel. After using it I just washed it off and let it dry until next time. It looks like it can be used for many purposes and I will buy another one when it wears out. I will buy tire gel because foam sprays cause excessive spattering, dripping and staining of the cement.
