Item not received as shown. In the picture the red wire goes to the insulated side of the black. The one I received had a red wire going to the exposed side of the black connector. The material is of very good quality. However, the polarity of the plug is wrong. It has a cigarette plug hot wire that has a center tap that leads to the bare wire of the black plug. This is contrary to common practice, as far as I have always done. I connected everything and as expected the fuse blew. Comparing the black connector to the factory Motorola connector, I found that the polarity was reversed, but it was too late. Hope I didn't damage my radio. I'll find out tonight, be a commodity and take a good look at the picture because it really shows what I'm saying.
