I use this scale for infusing coffee and it works great for that purpose. The weight is accurate to the tenth, the display is easy to read, and most importantly, the auto shut-off doesn't bother you in the middle of a pour (I think it waits 10 minutes of inactivity). There are no beeps or annoying noises, and the controls are simple. If I had to choose one of the scale designs it would be the rubber pad that comes with it: I wish the design had been improved so it would stick better to the scale. Otherwise a highly recommended purchase for your coffee bar or any other task that requires accurate measurement and timing.
