Works fine if you know what you're doing

On someone else's advice, I installed the software that came with it, then went to Control Panel/Device Manager and did a driver update through Windows Update. Remarks. I'm using Win7 Pro, it took almost 30 minutes to download and install the Broadcom software update via Windows Update and a 30Mbps wired connection and installing it on the SSD. Broadcom has removed Bluetooth updates from its website; insists they can be obtained through Windows Update. This may mean Linux users will find this adapter difficult to install - if you use Linux, check before purchasing. However, once all the software was installed, the adapter worked flawlessly and I was able to bypass the built-in barriers on my wife's smartphone and copy her photos to her computer. It can also be used to copy images from cheap phones ("recorders") that don't have other external access tools built-in. I deducted a star because you must have computer skills to properly install this adapter.
