Why can't I leave zero stars?

This thing nearly broke my computer. I plugged it into an available USB port, then it went ahead and installed its drivers. When that was done, I connected my wireless headphones to him, which he recognized but no sound came through them. I then went into the sound settings to change the default audio from my speakers to headphones as others have suggested, but that didn't work either. So I restarted my computer thinking maybe that would fix the problem. nope The computer wouldn't even boot and

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

It worked at first, but obviously not for long.

Whilst the adapter worked very well the first 7-10 it was in the USB port it broke off the black casing leaving nothing but very sharp corners sticking out the side of my laptop. Yes, it still seems to work without the case, but I couldn't leave it like that. it would cut through upholstery or clothing with very little effort. EDIT: When I tried to plug the (broken) adapter back into the USB port, the chip fell out completely. It is now 100% unusable and will be returned.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.

**AVOID AVOID AVOID** If you have the latest version of Windows 10!

I'm ONLY computer savvy and I've been fully updated to my Windows 10 desktop via Microsoft Update. I uninstalled all bluetooth devices and their drivers, uninstalled all remaining bluetooth software and related software, uninstalled all "ghost devices", disconnected the BTD-400, restarted and then reconnected the BTD-400. back, then downloaded drivers directly from the Kinivo website, uninstalled WIDCOMM after installing the driver (Kinivo instructions on their website), rebooted and my…

I bought this to use a Playstation 4 controller on my PC without a USB cable and it worked perfectly. or Windows 10. Works fine if you know what you're doing

On someone else's advice, I installed the software that came with it, then went to Control Panel/Device Manager and did a driver update through Windows Update. Remarks. I'm using Win7 Pro, it took almost 30 minutes to download and install the Broadcom software update via Windows Update and a 30Mbps wired connection and installing it on the SSD. Broadcom has removed Bluetooth updates from its website; insists they can be obtained through Windows Update. This may mean Linux users will find this…

I bought this to use with my iHip B20 Bluetooth headphones with my Hp desktop computer. After installing the DVD with BTD-400, the headphones connect normally. I tried using it to listen to YouTube and Battlefield 3 videos but no audio connected. That's basically what I wanted, but with no sound. I played around with the windows 7 computer system and my firewall for virus checking for about 3 hours and gave up. Return it the same day. After checking online, it turned out that the problem lies…

compatible with macOS (OS X)!

I bought this adapter on the recommendation of an article on the web about increasing the Bluetooth range on a MacBook laptop. When I'm at home, I connect my MacBook Pro to an Apple Thunderbolt Display and attach my laptop to the back of the display using a third-party device designed for this purpose. This works great, except the Apple Wireless Keyboard and Magic Trackpad I use with my computer have intermittent loose connections, resulting in jerky cursor movement and laggy response to key…

After a shaky installation procedure, it works very well.

I've been a computer engineer since day one (okay, in high school, but who counts?). If not, I would definitely ask for a refund on this device. I hesitated between 3 and 4 stars because the device actually works very well, but this installation procedure was. painful. I hope this helps you get started. The included CD has an installer that took a good half hour and didn't work. It said it completed successfully but didn't give me an interface to the device. My computer (Windows 7, x64) noticed
