lumberjacks and large hips/knees/calfs - cheap velcro are for skinnier types. Legs/Knees/Calves. I still wear them because they offer great protection and fit my AS boots great, but they get really uncomfortable after a few minutes with the edges cutting into the skin. I find myself distracting myself from the itchiness and playing around with them, trying to get comfortable. I will pay to have mine modified to fit me personally and make my ride more comfortable. Alpinestars gear doesn't come cheap, but it's great and worth the money. Price. But a few dollars more in R&D would make all the difference. Personally, I'm willing to pay a little more and I know I'm not alone. If anyone at Alpinestars R&D sees this please let me know as I have a plan to take this product from good to incredible.
