I've actually changed my rating from 5 to 4 now that I've had some time to use it. Here are my pros and cons: Pros: 1) GREAT cooktop 2) Excellent temperature control 3) Heats up quickly 4) Tempura/Steam rack - nice accessories included 5) Very easy to clean - easy quick release button to disconnect the actual wok The base is very comfortable and beautiful. Cons: 1) The "adjustable" vapor control mechanism on the lid doesn't work (and if it does, it's poorly designed). I even took it off to look for obstacles. However, this is a bad design. 2) A semi-circular tempura rack can't just sit on the rim of the wok. 3) If you force the grates to sit properly on the rim of the wok, the lid will not close fully to really steam effectively as it cannot create a steam filled cooking zone in a wok. That aside, it's still a very good wok and I still highly recommend it
