I bought this product about 8 months ago and some of the things it did with permission needed tweaking, that's ok. The loud beep it makes could be turned off which was great, it's a really annoying beep. After a few months it started disabling attached USB peripherals "accidentally", I had to turn it off and on completely (forcing me to reset the resolution on my displays) for it to recognize USB devices (keyboard /mouse ) again. Meanwhile, after a while, one or both monitors will turn off for a second or two and back on again. It would do this for hours if left unattended, turning it off and on again didn't always fix it. Eventually it will go away on its own, so I just accepted it. Now, as icing on the cake, the 2nd HDMI output no longer works. I reinstalled it, unplugged everything, left it unpowered overnight to make sure the covers were fused. I tried cleaning it like a 1990's Nintendo cartridge (cotton swab and alcohol). Connected it to completely different monitors and replaced the cables with new ones, but nothing helps. At the moment I would classify it as broken even if it still works with 1 monitor as for the price I paid it should work with 2. I would give 0 stars if I could as it's too expensive for this type of head. - the pain I had with it and ended up not working anymore. I had old KVMs running since 2000. There is no excuse.
