these shorts are comfortable. I find the S a bit big - I'm 5ft 6" and 122-125lbs. I wish there was an XS. Velcro straps in the front adjust the waist but for me I have to pull them all the way which leaves some lumps of fabric. However, this does not affect the comfort. I'm glad the hips are wide, leaving plenty of room for leg movement. I also appreciate that these shorts are cut to just above the knee. My previous MTB shorts were too short (mid to high thigh) so I wore leggings underneath - it's hot in summer! Cell phones and bicycle keys easily fit into the pockets. All in all these shorts are well tailored, attractive and at a great price. I also appreciate the seller's free shipping and returns policy (although I didn't need it) - a good feature. I am happy!
