Be careful when tightening the combination of screws and brass bushings, if you use them the bushings will damage the plastic by being 'pulled' into the plastic as the bushings have a very small diameter and concentrate all your clamping force on a small piece of plastic. Also, the base of the heat pipe assembly doesn't make physical contact with the processor if you're using a laminated plastic case. I preferred to use brass extensions and just a layer of plastic as a base. This configuration is preferable (to me) because the base with heat pipes makes physical contact with the processor and allows you to use thermal paste instead of thermal tape. . As I said, the instructions supplied are useless, my reason for the three stars, but the images of the product provided by amazon allow different options to be put together with a little trial and error. I love the Raspberry Pi Model 4 heat pipe and fan kit, the heat pipe provides excellent cooling. I have 11 Raspberry Pi; 6X Pi-3 and 5X Pi-4. The pi-3 cools well with an aluminum chassis (remember to use thermal tape liberally), while the pi-4 cools best with a heat pipe and fan. You can test your cooling solution by running pi-stress-test, search for "raspberry pi stress test", it's easy to do, it takes 15 minutes. enjoy your pi.
