The first one was not formatted due to excessive I/O errors. The replacement came within 48 hours, uncomplicated, no problem. The capacity is great. I recommend doing a full scan before investing in the format (takes over 24 hours). This 2-inch drive is 15mm thick rather than the more usual 9mm, so it won't fit in many standard external drive glasses, nor in the Dell R495D. inner basket. Had to buy an Inatek metal trolley which solved the problem if you don't use their pan head screws. Make sure you have 15mm clearance where you're going to mount this as it has twice the platters of a regular 9 2TB 1mm drive, but the extra storage space is worth it. Outstanding quality and outstanding service.
