Definitely works for the warm air intake. It's not as well made as the K&N version, but it's a lot cheaper than the K&N version! The pipe from the air cleaner to the turbocharger inlet can be an inch longer and solves many assembly problems. The part that keeps the engine heat out might be larger, but with some basic materials you can really improve the design. Noticeably more horsepower, they say around 10-12 hp on an untuned Cruze and around 5-6 hp on a tuned car. It definitely allows you to crank up the turbo and dump it. ZZP Performance has a much better option for just over $200, but it's out of stock. Overall this is a good product at a reasonable price.
