Great air intake for the price! Has everything the same as K&N but $100 less. For the most part it was pretty easy to install, a few better instructions could have been added, but most of it is self-explanatory. The sound of the car is great! Did a little ride today and got 3-4mpg by the average MPG meter.

Yesterday I installed it on my 2014 Chevy Cruze, LT 1.4L Turbocharged. It definitely has a performance boost, but not as much as you'd expect. Well with what I paid it's worth it. If I compare it to a K&N, the car has the same performance and sound gains. There really aren't any big differences. So the choice between Specter or K&N is yours.

Dude, I'll tell you what. Put this on my tuned 2014 Chevy Cruze LT 1.4l Turbo. And all I have to say is wow. It definitely has a serious torque difference and the most important thing is the response I get from it. Oh, and who doesn't LOVE turbo boost when changing gears? It's really adorable. Definitely works for the warm air intake. It's not as well made as the K&N version, but it's a lot cheaper than the K&N version! The pipe from the air cleaner to the turbocharger inlet can be an inch longer and solves many assembly problems. The part that keeps the engine heat out might be larger, but with some basic materials you can really improve the design. I got a remanufactured Specter for $133 which is way better than a $250 K&N. The refurbished air intake looked "like new" with only a few small scratches on the metal tube. The used inlet was also $30 cheaper when shipping and taxes are included. That cool air intake really made my 2015 Chevy Cruze Turbo stand out.
