Well they're not ancient but they hurt when you get on all fours and clean the solution which is enough for me! I just tried it on my dirty grout and wasn't sure if it would generate enough pressure to clean, but it does. The brush's V-shape fits perfectly into the grout line and I love the fact that the handle is telescoping and can be shortened and hand-held to clean wall tiles. It also rotates so you can easily move it along the lines. I have tiles in my bathroom that have very deep metal texture and pitting and I have found that some of these deep veins are more pronounced due to DIRT. This brush is therefore not only ideal for grouting, but also brings the tile back to its original shape. It feels durable and well made and I think with the right grout cleaner it will be a winner and make my floor look like new!
