Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ Enhanced Performance Kit: Power Stop K2767 Front and Rear Z23 Carbon Fiber Brake Pads with Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors by John Maskirta

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Had a good deal but the rotors warped after 1.5 years

I now have Powerstop rotors and Evo pads on my car. Noticeable difference compared to the original and looks fantastic through the rims. Overall I'm satisfied, it's only been 3 days but no noise, squeaking forward or reverse (especially when reversing in my room at work). The brakes don't vibrate at all when pressed. (Totally different from my IS300 with the perforation and slot that I felt the brake pedal vibrate when I pressed it). I followed the break-in period as instructed by Power Stop. At the moment I recommend them. You just need to find out what 36K's 3-year warranty covers, not some information in the box. Contact Power Stop for details. More information will be updated in a few months, I've posted some photos. This is for a 2004 Infiniti FX35. Update 17/02/2014: I have had these discs and pads for over a year now. No problems with breakage, cracking or rusting. There is very little noise when braking from 40 to 0 mph (e.g. approaching a stop sign). As an aside, I've been having the same issue with stock pads and rotors for a while now (probably just an FX35 setup). For the price, looks, and performance, I recommend this setup. Next time I clean my car I'll post some pics of the FX35 with 22" wheels. I also received feedback from support regarding the guarantee: Update: 07/18/2014 I had the brake discs and brake pads for almost 2 years. Now every time I have a hard breakdown or accelerate from 40 to 0 km/h, the rotors on the steering wheel vibrate. I changed my rating to 1 star, looked like a good set but now I have to either replace them or contact Power Stop for warranty. Update: 07/26/2014 Replaced by Centric rotors and Akebono pads. The vibration was gone, so there was definitely a defect in the pads or rotors. a period of 3 YEARS OR 36,000 MILES from the date of purchase by the original purchaser, provided that the product has not been misused or abused or modified or altered in its use or installation and that the product has been installed in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's instructions.
