I've been needing a new kettle for a long time. Pouring hot water out of a regular pot isn't very ideal, it sure is, lol. When I saw this, I knew I needed it. The design and matte finish are great! It boils water pretty quickly and the whistle it makes is LOUD! I like it because I have to stand and watch the pot of water. It's nice to be able to keep painting while I wait for my water to be ready for my tea. The handle is mostly heat resistant. It gets a little warm, but not hot enough to burn you. I like the little lever function to open and close the spout. It's so convenient! The hole at the top is big enough for you to put your hand through to clean. All in all a perfect kettle!
